I was listening to a sermon by Pastor James Paton about God seeking Adam's fellowship - his company - and how he similarly desires to be in relationship with us, when I had the idea of piecing together lives from the Old and New Testament, and our own. I made some notes about a whole bunch of our spiritual forefathers, then selected those that fit the best...'Here I Am' thus came into being! I was pretty insecure about it though, because it was more 'gospely' than I normally write. However when I showed it to Kristal, her 'gospel voice' burst forth! I'm serious! A little more crafting was done to add Jessie and Dave to the mix, and wow! I like it:) I hope you do to! Be encouraged today by the God who is as alive now as he was back then in Adam's time...
